Certification Management Module


The Certification Management Module allows administrators to create and manage certification tracks and learning plans within the CompanyCollege LMS. This module is critical for organizations that must document compliance with government regulations as well as for specific job roles that require professional certifications. Employees and supervisors can easily monitor the training activity associated with regulatory compliance, CEU’s or internal learning plans.

Certification tracks are created by administrators and may include due dates, expiration dates, as well as multiple stages of offline and online learning activities. Each certification stage consists of one or more online or offline learning activities. Activities within a certification stage may be required or elective, and may serve as prerequisites for other learning activities.

In addition to creating, editing and assigning users to certification tracks within the Learning Management System, administrators and supervisors may also view summary and detailed reports on certification tracks as well as reports on learners’ progress and status.

Below is an example of the certification requirements for becoming a hypothetical “Customer Service Professional.” In this example, Stage 1 requires the completion of 4 out of 8 online customer service training courses. Once Stage 1 is completed, the user is eligible for Stage 2, the Customer Service Simulations. Once these online simulations are completed, the Certification Track is considered "Completed".
