BizLibrary is excited to announce that we’ve added two versions of Culture of Civility: Creating a Harassment Free Workplace to our library to support organizations in Canada. In partnership with Canadian employment lawyers at Ogletree Deakins, BizLibrary Productions has created a new anti-harassment course offering in French Canadian and English languages that meets the compliance needs for Canadian organizations when supplemented with an organization’s internal policies. This expansion adds to our collection of Canadian compliance content that includes an Ontario version of Culture of Civility and additional Canadian safety courses.
The Culture of Civility training was developed in line with the highest watermark in terms of requirements across Canadian provinces and will cover harassment and violence definitions, protected characteristics, complaint processes, bystander response, investigations, and best practices.
Where applicable, the course will direct learners to check with their province’s Human Rights Tribunal for specific laws. We also recommend organizations supplement this content with their own policies and procedures to ensure full compliance. Furthermore, to ensure we offer organizations up-to-date and accurate material, our Canadian compliance will undergo yearly review.
